World Championships in Aachen: Vice World Champion title in the pas de deux

At the World Vaulting Championships in Aachen, Malleret Romulus TS was crowned vice-world champion in the Pas-de-Deux. With Italian duo Rebecca Greggio and Davide Zanella in the saddle, the team secured the silver medal in the Sparkasse Prize with an overall score of 8.982. The dark bay stallion by Rock For Me/Lauries Crusador xx (breeders: ZG Hübler & Thaden, Butjadingen) is descended from the Hanoverian Dam line of Steinwappen. His great-granddam, Lacarna TS, is none other than the dam of Dancier, a Celle state stud stallion and Grande Prix winner. Owned by the Dumont family (Maud Bousignac Dumont, Amandine Dumont, Louis Dumont and Samuel Dumont), the Hanoverian showed great composure in the Aachen Arena. After scoring 8.724 in the first round, the pair improved to an outstanding 9.154 points in the decisive freestyle final. With this consistent team performance, they were beaten in the overall standings only by the French winners, Theo Gardies and Noely Thibaudat.
