The breeding highlight is the Stallion Licensing and Stallion Sales of the dressage stallions in Verden. At the main licensing, two and a half year old stallions are presented in hand as well as three year old stallions under the rider. Stallion owners and riders buy their future stallion or sport partner here.
From November 20 to 21, 2026, the stallion licensing of dressage stallions. All stallions of the riding horse population (breed group 1) are eligible to participate in the licensing, provided that they meet the pedigree requirements.

Admission is free on Thursday; on Friday and Saturday, tickets cost 20.00 euros on the long side and 15.00 euros on the short side. If seats are still available, tickets can also be purchased during the event. Standing room tickets can be purchased on the day of the event, subject to availability. You can order your tickets online.
The Friday ticket for the dressage licensing event includes not only admission to the indoor arena and a designated seat, but also admission to the licensing party, which takes place in the foyer starting at 7:00 p.m. Complimentary drinks will be served from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
This year, there will also be a lounge area in the foyer.
There is a new feature at this year’s dressage licensing event: The right side of the Niedersachsenhalle—the side facing Lindhooper Straße—is designated as the VIP area. From there, guests have direct access to the Forum, where food and drinks are served.
Tables for the VIP area can be reserved for Friday (lunging) and Saturday. Each table seats four and can only be booked as a single unit. Tables can be reserved through Ticketmaster or by contacting Kristina Kaiser kkaiser@hannoveraner.com / Marleen Wigger mwigger@hannoveraner.com.
Im Rahmen der Verdener Hengstkörung vom 19./20. November findet auch der FRH-Cup in Verden statt. Sport und Zucht miteinander verbinden – dieses Ziel verfolgen wir nun auch bei den Dressurhengsten. An zwei Tagen präsentieren sich die Sieben- bis Neunjährigen in einer Einlaufprüfung sowie einem Kleinen und Großen Finale des neu geschaffenen FRH-Cups. Die Finalprüfung als Höhepunkt des Turniers – ein St Georg Special – wird vor dem Longieren der Hengste geritten. So ist die Verbindung zwischen Sport und Zucht perfekt.
