For the third time, the Hanoverian Society, in cooperation with RC Rosenbusch-Oberneuland, is presenting a collection of exceptional show jumping foals at the Forkert family’s farm.
The program begins on Saturday, May 2, when the foals will be presented live on the competition arena for the first time as part of the evening program. The final decision will be made on Sunday, May 3, during the live-only auction, which takes place around 3:00 p.m., immediately before the Grand Prix.
On May 30, the 2026 foal crop will take center stage in Verden: the Verden Auction OnLive Foal YoungSTARS will once again take place as an atmospheric outdoor event on the racecourse grounds. Surrounded by lush greenery, the presentation of the foals at 10 a.m. under open skies will be a special experience for exhibitors and visitors alike – as will the subsequent auction at 2 p.m.
Around 70 high-quality young prospects with interesting pedigrees will be presented in a compact, carefully curated lot. The collection includes promising filly and colt foals for dressage, show jumping, and eventing. The diversity of bloodlines, featuring modern, performance-oriented sires as well as a broad range of proven dam lines, makes this auction a true showcase of breeding.
The auction itself will be conducted in the proven OnLive format, combining the atmosphere of a traditional on-site auction with the advantages of digital participation. Whether directly at the presentation arena or online from home, the Verden Auction on May 30 offers excellent opportunities to discover a future star for the sport.
With the Verdener Summer Sales, the Hanoverian Society is introducing a new, flexible auction format that combines modern horse purchasing with the proven Verdener quality standards. The online auction kicks off on June 20 with a diverse collection of 3- to 5-year-old dressage, show jumping, and leisure horses, as well as experienced horses with a track record of competition success.
The collection will be available online starting May 29. An auction video and veterinary examination records are available for each horse. Supplementary home videos provide additional, authentic insights into daily training. Bids can be placed from the very beginning.
Bidding takes place entirely online and concludes on June 20 with the final bid-up on Saturday afternoon, during which the horses are sold via direct bidding competition with a click of the mouse. In addition to the traditional auction process, the format offers an attractive buy-it-now option: Those who wish to make an early decision can secure their desired horse at a fixed price even before the bid-up.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to meet and test the horses in person. A central test-riding session will take place on Friday, June 12, at 3 p.m. in Verden. In addition, individual test-riding appointments can be arranged directly at the horses’ home stables throughout the entire auction period.
