More than 100 reasons to celebrate: The collection of the 52nd Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction brings together quality, type, and outstanding future prospects. More than 100 foals from proven dam lines and exciting pedigrees are complemented by in-foal broodmares with forward-looking genetics. The collection will also be expanded to include about ten late-born foals. Many former Verden auction foals have gone on to achieve international success in sport, providing impressive proof of breeding with vision.
Our cover star is Ebano. The licensed dressage stallion, bred by Hans-Joachim Burdorf and sold through the Verden Auction in 2019, is a multiple Polish Dressage Horse Champion and has already competed three times at the FEI World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. His rider and owner, Mateusz Cichon, calls him his “once-in-a-lifetime horse” – and for good reason.

The Hanoverian Society’s fourth foal auction in Illertissen, southern Germany, will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as part of the show jumping festival at the Illertissen Equestrian Center. In collaboration with its horse breeding clubs in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, the Hanoverian Society has selected a lot consisting of promising dressage and show jumping foals, as well as a broodmare. On Saturday afternoon around 2:00 p.m., the foals will be presented on the competition grounds. The auction will take place in the evening starting at 8:30 p.m. via OnLive—both on-site and through our online auction platform at www.verden-auctions-online.com.
As a special highlight, the auction will be held in collaboration with the Hörmann Verwertungen auction house. To kick off the evening at 8:30 p.m., this renowned auction house will auction off a selection of handbags, watches, e-scooters, and much more

From Wednesday to Saturday, 5–8 August, the riding horses will be presented daily in the HORSE24-Arena. The auction foals will be showcased to the public during a special presentation on Saturday. In addition, all riding horses will be available throughout the event week in the Niedersachsenhalle for training sessions and trial rides.
