At the inaugural U25 World Eventing Championships in Millstreet, Ireland, the German quartet finished as vice world champions behind the favored British team. The team included Astrello by Asti’s Amsterdam/Prestige Pilot (breeder: Jörg Sültemeier, Trebel) ridden by Linus Weiss, and the Stalypso/Chambertin son Sir Scotty (breeder: Elizabeth Kapp, Clüversbostel) and Ann-Catrin Bierlein. The experienced dark bay was part of the collection of the 2012 Verden May Auction. Sir Scotty delivered a masterful performance with the second-fastest round in the cross-country. With two knock downs and a few time penalties in the jumping, he ultimately finished ninth. With this top-ten result, his rider also gave herself a very special birthday present. Astrello finished his performance in Ireland in 17th place.
