As the winner of the qualifier, the Escolar/Westernhagen son Einfach Imposant B (breeder: Daniela Burkhardt-Robert, Breitenbach-Gehau), ridden by Kira Laura Soddemann, will compete in Sunday’s final of the FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for five-year-old horses. The impressive dark bay confidently led the field of participants. His walk, suppleness, and perspective were all rated a solid “very good,” leading to an overall score of 89.00 percent. Following his performance at the Bundeschampionat for four-year-old riding horses, Einfach Imposant B was one of the most sought-after dressage horses at the Hanoverian Elite Auction in Verden last October. Under the saddle of his new rider, Kira Laura Soddemann, he got off to a dream start in horse shows in January. Since then, he has competed in dressage classes four times, winning the gold ribbon each time. His talent was evident from the start. His dam, Wonapalai, was successful up to the Prix St Georges level, most recently with master rider Dorothee Schneider. Second in the qualifier were DSP Lord Löwenherz von Bellin and Ellen Richter; third was Weihe’s Happiness OLD with Alina Schneider.

One of the best performances of the day came from Hann.Pr.A. Senza Parole F by Secret/For Romace (breeder: Dr. Christine Feichtinger, Vaduz/LIE). Just a few weeks ago, Thomas Schulze had taken the reins of the black-bay mare and immediately celebrated two victories in dressage horse classes in Nörten-Hardenberg. In the Verden arena, she impressed the judges above all with an outstanding walk (8.8) and excellent perspective (8.6). Her score of 84.800 percent earned her fifth place and thus a spot in the 2021 age-group final. Last year, Hann.Pr.A. Senza Parole F was awarded the “If” prize at the Herwart von der Decken Show at the same venue. During her mare perfomance test, the test rider awarded her a perfect 10 for rideability.
