Hanoverian Show Jumping Masters: Double victory for Mynou Diederichsmeier.

Mynou Diederichsmeier celebrated a double victory at the Hanoverian Show Jumping Masters. She won with Contina in the five-year-old class and with Action Hero in the seven- and eight-year-old class. The breeder of both horses, Harm Wiebusch, had previously competed in the four-year-old class in the saddle of his own-bred stallion Cracker, Contina’s full brother. In the six-year-old class, Hann.Pr.St. Bambi Jo PJ and Roman Duchac led the lap of honor with the white and yellow winner’s ribbon.

Cracker, son of Conthargos/Valentino (breeder: Harm Wiebusch, Wedel), had already impressed in the qualifiers, and in the final for four-year-olds, a class L show jumping competition, the bay stallion from the Stange line led the field with a score of 9.20. In the saddle was his breeder Harm Wiebusch, who thus secured another victory at the Hanoverian Show Jumping Masters. Jessica Freye had also already been victorious in Verden. This year, she took second place with Hann.Pr.A. Contha ZE by Conthargos/Kannan (breeder: Rolf Eggerking, Brinkum) and third place with All Stars Rubin by All Star/Quidam’s Rubin (breeder: Hartmut Knop, Müden/Aller). The show jumper discovered the licensed dark chestnut stallion at the same venue two years ago at the stallion sales.

Cracker’s full sister Contina won the five-year-olds, who competed in a special M* level show jumping competition. She is also no stranger to Niedersachsenhalle. Her rider, Mynou Diederichsmeier, purchased the Conthargos/Valentino daughter (breeder: Harm Wiebusch, Wedel) at the Elite Auction in October last year. Two months later, she took second place in the Hanoverian Show Jumping Masters for four-year-olds and became Hanoverian vice-champion in Elmlohe in July. As in the previous year, she was followed by Hann.Pr.A./Vet+ Comme Demande S by Comme Prévu/Catoki (breeder: ZG Schmidinger, Stade) and Stephan Dubsky – this time in second place. The top trio was completed by Hann.Pr.St. Donna Bella by Don VHP Z/Cascadello (breeder: Stefan Aust, Armstorf), winning mare in the jumping mare class at the Herwart von der Decken Show 2023, with Tim-Uwe Hoffmann in the saddle.

Things got really exciting with the six-year-olds. Nine of the 21 participants in the M** class made it to the final. As the penultimate starters, Hann.Pr.St. Bambi Jo PJ by Balou du Rouet/Escudo (breeder: Pferdezucht Dr. Jacobs GbR, Bierbergen) and Roman Duchac took the victory. Dam St.Pr.St. Emmy Jo is a full sister to the stallions Embassy I to III and, like her prominent brothers, was successful in the difficult course. Ginger nut FRH (breeder: Ulf Plate, Oldendorf) and Julia Plate were narrowly beaten. The two are an experienced team: last year they were Hanoverian champions of the five-year-old show jumpers and this year they were vice-champions of the six-year-olds. Third place on the podium went to Gucci’s Airplane W by Grey Top/Newton (breeder: Johannes Wegner, Kutenholz) and Jamie Reiß. They thus repeated their result from last year.

Only two riders remained penalty-free in the jump-off of the S* show jumping competition for seven- and eight-year-olds. Mynou Diederichsmeier triumphed for the second time, while Harm Wiebusch was the breeder of the winning horse for the third time. The show jumper and her Action Blue/Chacco-Blue son Action Hero were the first starters to deliver a performance that none of the other participants could match. In the past two years, the bay horse had been highly placed with Mynou Diederichsmeier’s sister Mylene Nagel. His half-brother by Forlee belongs to the collection of the show jumping stallion licensing and will find a new owner tomorrow at the stallion sales. The silver ribbon went to Chacco’s Champ by Chacco’s Son II/Quaid (breeder: Johannes Sabel, Geesten) and Hilmar Meyer. It was also the third appearance at the Hanoverian Show Jumping Masters for the bay horse. Umile by Unikato/Quinturo (breeder: Gestüt Kükenmoor, Kirchlinteln) and Bernd Rubarth took third place with the fastest four-fault ride.
