At the European Junior Championships in Segersjö, Sweden, DJ Continus by Diacontinus/Stakkato (breeder: Claudia Eckhoff, Wölpinghausen) and Germany’s Teresa Leowald claimed the title with an outstanding start-to-finish victory. The 15-year-old has already celebrated successes in S-level show jumping with her nine-year-old grey horse and won the “Preis der Besten” in Radolfzell in April. In doing so, the pair also laid the groundwork for the German team’s victory over Ireland and Great Britain. The team also included Cliemann by Carridam/Perigueux (breeder: Ulrike von Stietencron, Emmerthal) and Pia Sophie Schreiber, who worked their way up from 30th place after the dressage to a brilliant seventh-place finish in the individual standings of the CCI2*-L.
Auch bei den Jungen Reitern sicherte sich das deutsche Quartett den Titel. Mit dabei waren Favorita V v. First Ampere/Bonifatius (Z.: Peter Vollmers, Plaaz) und Pita Schmid sowie der im Rheinland registrierte Stalypso/For Edition-Sohn Calypso (Z.: Günter Janzen, Wischhafen) mit Silvia Kelly im Sattel. In der Einzelwertung gewannen Favorita V und Pita Schmid die Bronzemedaille, nachdem sie sich im Parcours lediglich 0,8 Zeitstrafpunkte leisteten.

The team included Favorita V by First Ampere/Bonifatius (breeder: Peter Vollmers, Plaaz) and Pita Schmid, as well as Calypso by Stalypso/For Edition (breeder: Günter Janzen, Wischhafen), registered in the Rhineland, with Silvia Kelly in the saddle. In the individual competition, Favorita V and Pita Schmid won the bronze medal after incurring just 0.8 time penalty points on the course.
