World Championships in Aachen: Silver and bronze in the team event

At the World Vaulting Championships in Aachen, there was plenty of cause for celebration for the Hanoverians. In the highly competitive Official Team Competition for the prestigious Sparkasse Prize, the Hanoverians, riding for their national teams, secured both the silver and bronze medals. The silver medal went to the French team. On the lunge, under the guidance of Sirine Abousaïd, the eleven-year-old chestnut gelding Fürst Fridolin HDC by Fürst Belissaro/Brentano II (breeders: Josef Brinkemöller, Georgsmarienhütte) was in superb form. The bronze medal was claimed by the Italian team, in which two top-class Hanoverians shone in the arena:
Davide Zanella rode Da Vinci by De Niro/His Highness, bred by Andreas Viebrock of Harsefeld, and Rebecca Greggio rode Malleret Romulus TS by Rock For Me/Lauries Crusador xx (breeders: ZG Hübler & Thaden, Butjadingen).
