Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel and the ten-year-old Hanoverian mare ZINQ First Vienna FH FRH by Vitalis/First Dance (breeder: Beekenhof GmbH & Co. KG, Walsrode) secured the second place in the U25 Grand Prix freestyle in Balve. With their freestyle set to the sounds of ABBA and Irene Cara, they finished just behind Alive and Kicking and Rose Oatley.
Vienna has been trained by Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel since she was five years old. Their competition journey together has taken them from a bronze medal at the Bundeschampionat for six-year-old dressage horses and a runner-up spot in the FRH Cup to their latest podium finish in Balve. Following their success in Balve, the pair was nominated for the U25 European Championships. What a success story!
“She is the first horse I have trained myself all the way to Grand Prix level – I am proud of that and, above all, very, very grateful,” said Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel.
