At the World Vaulting Championships in Aachen, there was plenty of cause for celebration for the Hanoverians. In the highly competitive Official Team Competition for the prestigious Sparkasse Prize, the Hanoverians, riding for their national teams, secured both the silver and bronze medals. The silver medal went to the French team. On the lunge, under the guidance of Sirine Abousa\u00efd, the eleven-year-old chestnut gelding F\u00fcrst Fridolin HDC by F\u00fcrst Belissaro\/Brentano II (breeders: Josef Brinkem\u00f6ller, Georgsmarienh\u00fctte) was in superb form. The bronze medal was claimed by the Italian team, in which two top-class Hanoverians shone in the arena:
